Boris Kocken - Lawyer

Boris Kocken specialises in administrative law, environmental law and administrative organisation law. He studied International and European law at Leiden University. In 2009, he completed the Grotius specialisation course in environmental law. Previously, he worked as a lawyer at several law firms, and at national government organisations.

Boris has extensive experience in subjects that play a role in the relationship between companies and private individuals on the one hand and the government on the other. This includes (environmental) permits, enforcement, environment, planning damage, events, bibob cases, public order and safety and subsidies. You can expect expert and clear legal advice from Boris. But he certainly does not shy away from litigation if necessary.

Boris is a member of the Construction Lawyers Association (VBR-A), the Environmental Lawyers Association (VMA) and the Administrative Law Association (VAR). He is also active as chairman of the Beuningen and Eindhoven objections committees and as a member of the Noordwijk objections committee.

Boris is in his element on the water. He likes sailing at sea and he rows regularly on inland waterways. He also enjoys hiking in nature and the mountains.
