Ad Liefting – Lawyer

Ad Liefting has over 30 years of in-depth work experience as a lawyer. Over the years, he has specialised in various fields of law. For several years now, he has focused on tenancy law, neighbourhood law and vve law. It is precisely the diversity of the cases he has to deal with that appeals to him. Whether it concerns small or large cases for private individuals or companies, Ad knows how to empathise with the emotional and legal aspects of an issue.

Ad studied Business Law at the University of Leiden and Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management. He also lived briefly in the United States, where he studied at Berkeley University in California.

Working method
Looking for real solutions together with clients, under the motto: 'if there's no music in it, we don't do it'. That is what it is all about for Ad. That is why honest and open communication is central to his working method. It is precisely by building partnerships and relationships with clients, where clients actively think along and share information, that Ad knows how to achieve results and reach solutions.

Collaboration
Ad has been working with HABITAT lawyers for many years and has been part of the core team since 1 March 2023. Consultation with all HABITAT stakeholders is structural and focused on results.

Personal
Ad enjoys hiking, running and cycling, lives with Ineke, has three sons and lives in Heemstede. He is a member of the Environmental Law Association.
