Rosa de Valk – Juridisch medewerker

Rosa is an ambitious, energetic lawyer-to-be. Her interests lie in both international and domestic environmental law and climate law. Previously, she has gained legal experience within these areas of law through various avenues. During her internship at the Dutch Environmental Defense, for example, she started working with environmental law. As a legal assistant at The Ocean Cleanup she dealt with international environmental law. At HABITAT advocaten, Rosa is responsible for the first contact with clients and assists them through our helpdesk. She is also involved in the preparation of legal research, she is constantly aware of which cases our lawyers are dealing with and she makes sure that the administration is in order.

Rosa completed a master's degree in constitutional and administrative law at the University of Amsterdam. And, there is no shortage of ambition. A second master's in Sweden is also planned from September 2023.

In her free time, Rosa likes to seek out nature. She hikes a lot, and makes beautiful trips. Scandinavia is on top of her list to visit again soon. She can also regularly be found in France, where she goes for long nature walks. Still, she doesn't shy away from a relaxing day sunbathing by the pool. She also enjoys reading (especially while sunbathing by the pool), and playing the violin. Ask her about thriller books such as Dracula, or by author Nicci French, and she'll jump up from her chair to tell you more about it! This also applies to environmental and climate legal issues, by the way.
